List of teen films

This is a list of teen films. Some of these films are targeted at adult as well as teenagers. Teen films have been a trope of the cinema industry for decades since the 1950s.[1][2] At this time, the film industry saw a market for teens with a more disposable income and therefore more money to spend on leisure activities; largely going to films. Because of the boom in teen viewers, drive-in movie theatres were also very popular.[2]
